今天心血來潮想到過去曾經服務過的一位主管，便試著在網路上搜尋她的近況。由於年代久遠，其實還先花了一點時間回想公司名，然後再從那裡拼湊出完整中英文姓名後，才得以往下一個步驟前進。

首先用中文名，得到的資訊大多都是兩三年前的消息。後來換了英文加中文名後，才得知她已於去年因久病離世的消息。

十年前的她看起來十分健康，外型亮麗，身材保養得宜。沒想到。。。

世事無常，願她在離世前的（或生病前）已經把生活過得無悔無怨，篇篇精彩。相信她在息了地上的勞苦後，已安然在主懷中安息。

Today, on a whim, I found myself thinking about a former supervisor of mine, so I decided to look her up online to see how she was doing. Since it had been so long, it took me a moment just to remember the company name. After piecing together her full name in both Chinese and English, I was finally able to move forward with the search.

At first, I searched using only her Chinese name, but most of the results were two or three years old. It wasn’t until I combined her English and Chinese names that I learned the news: she had passed away last year after a long illness.

Ten years ago, she seemed so healthy—strikingly beautiful and very well-maintained. I never would have imagined…

Life is truly unpredictable. I hope that before her illness, she lived a life without regrets—one that was vibrant and full of wonderful chapters. I believe that now that her earthly labors have ended, she is resting peacefully in the arms of the Lord.
